about Maria E B Rusk

Maria is a mixed media artist based in Houston, TX. she has been drawing since she could hold a pencil and took up painting in high school. her style has developed over the years into a cross between abstract and realism involving geometric shapes, bright colors and patterns. her preferred mediums are watercolor, colored pencil and acrylic.

she currently works full-time as a behavioral therapist while creating custom artwork for musicians and other artists, and volunteers teaching an art program she is developing. overall, she is working towards her goal of opening a studio where the neuro-diverse can make art.
